Oleg Znarok: "I will be the national team's consultant until my contract ends"

Oleg Znarok, the Russian national team head coach during the Olympic cycle, commented on his new role in the team's management group:

- The Russian Ice Hockey Federation took the decision to appoint a new head coach for the senior national team and make me the team's consultant until the 31st of May 2018 - the end of my contract. During this time, I will think about plans for the future. I will be in contact with the national team's management group.

The cooperation between Oleg Znarok and the RIHF will continue in a new format. The specialist will be a consultant for the national team's management group, being in constant contact with them during the World Championship in Denmark.
