Russia U18 have started training in Chelyabinsk

With the 2018 World Championship approaching, the under 18 Russian national team have started training in Chelyabinsk. The coaches took these following players to the competition:
Goalkeepers: Daniil Isaev (Lokomotiv), Mikhail Isaev (Ladya), Amir Miftakhov (Irbis Kazan).
Defenders: Anton Malyshev, Anton Misyul (both Loko Yaroslavl), Danil Zhuravlyov, Artemiy Knyazev (both Irbis Kazan), Danila Galenyuk (SKA-Neva Saint Petersburg), Nikita Okhotyuk (Ottawa-67), Alexander Romanov (Krasnaya Armiya), Bogdan Zhilyakov (Dynamo Saint Petersburg), Nikita Zorkin (Mamonty Yugry Khanty-Mansiysk), Yegor Zamula (Calgary Hitmen).
Forwards: Ruslan Iskhakov, Nikita Rtischev, Maxim Sorkin (all Krasnaya Armiya), Nikita Rozhkov, Pavel Dorofeev, Yegor Spiridonov (all Stalnie Lisy Magnitogorsk), Kirill Marchenko, Ivan Morozov (Mamonty Yugry Khanty-Mansiysk), Alexander Zhabreev, Roman Rotenberg (both Dynamo Saint Petersburg), Vladislav Mikhaylov, Oleg Zaitsev (both Dynamo Moscow), Dmitry Zavgorodniy (Rimouski Oceanic), Semyon Kizimov (Ladya), Vasily Podkolzin (Vityaz Podolsk).

Russia U18 forward Maxim Sorkin:
- We feel great and are preparing for the tournament. I have positive impressions from the training camp in Novogorsk, we played two friendly games and travelled here to Chelyabinsk. We won the second match 8:3, but we need to stop conceded so many goals. At the moment, I'm 90% ready for the competition. Our goal is to win the World Championship.
The 2018 U18 World Championship will take begin in Chelyabinsk and Magnitogorsk on April 19. Before the tournament, Russia U18 will play exhibition games against Belarus (April 14) and Sweden (April 16).
