80 years since the birth of Igor Romishevskiy

It is 80 years to the day since Igor Romishevskiy, who won the Olympic Games twice and the World Championship on four occasions, was born.
Igor earned Olympic gold in 1968 and 1972 and the title of world champion between 1968 and 1971. He also claimed a silver medal at the 1972 World Championship.
The former defenseman passed away on 28 September 2013.
