Russia U18 are continuing to prepare for the new season

14.07.2017

In Moscow Region, the under 18 Russian national team are continuing to prepare for the upcoming season. In August, the players will compete in the Ivan Hlinka memorial tournament.

Yesterday, forwards Lev Komissarov and Yegor Kravchenko left the training camp, with HC CSKA Moscow forwards Sergei Alexandrov and Ruslan Iskhakov replacing them. The training camp will continue until 23rd of July, before 28 of the players start working out in Novogorsk.

Russia U18 defenseman Gleb Babintsev:

- I'm enjoying the training camp, we're working out intensively. It was tough during the first week, but we started skating on Monday. In a training match, I played with Andrei Pribylskiy in a defensive partnership. Despite not knowing each other, we quickly managed to find a mutual understanding. The defensemen and forwards are training separately at the moment, but all of us feel fine.
