Alexander Mikulovich: We are already preparing for the final

Junior Russian national team defenceman Alexander Mikulovich commented on the victory over the USA:

- How did you get your game back together after the mistake which led up to the conceded goal?

- I was nervous and made a mistake - I lost my pace in that episode, and the American player overtook me. Never mind, I gathered my emotions and continued to play. You have to keep going in those moments.

- Did the match's final moments make you nervous?

- No, I was nervous only during the opening minutes.

- It's surprising that you outshot the Americans and bossed the whole game.

- We were given a task to shoot from any position and to crash their net, they have a good goaltender and we had to push the puck past him - we eventually managed to do that.

- Can we now say that Ron Wilson has learnt about the Russian players?

- Those are his words, I wouldn't want to comment on them. We won, and that is the main thing for us - we're already preparing for the final.
