The final games of the Golden Puck tournament

We now know the dates of the final round of thr Golden Puck tournament in the name of Anatoly Tarasov:

Tournaments between local city children's teams will take place in Sochi:

- Players born in 2001-2002, 22nd-30th of March;

- Players born in 2003-2004, 22nd-30th of April;

- Players born in 2005-2006, 22nd-30th of May.

Rural junior teams will play their deciding matches in two age catergories:

- Players born in 2001-2002, 22nd February-2nd of March, Salavat (Bashkortostan)

- Players born in 2003-2004, 13th-22nd of February, Sverskaya (Krasnodarskiy kray)

Competitions between female teams will be held in these following age ranges:

- Players born in 1999-2001, 22nd of April-1st of May, Severskaya (Krasnodarskiy kray)

- Players born in 2002-2004, 31st of May-9th of June, Eysk (Krasnodarskiy kray)

We remind you that the Golden Puck competition in the name of Anatoly Tarasov is held in these three stages:

- 1st stage: games in the municipalities of the Russian Federation (November 2015 - January 2016);

- 2nd stage: final games in the regions of the Russian Federation (January - February 2016);

- 3rd stage: the overall final and deciding matches. The winners of regional tournaments qualify for this stage of the competition.

Applications to compete in the deciding stage of the Golden Puck tournament are submitted by the executive authorities of the Russian Federation's ministry of sport and the Golden Puck club based on information from the first two competition stages. For teams of the eldest group applications must be handed in no later than the 1st of March 2016, the date for the middle group is the 1st of April 2016, and finally for the youngest group it's the 1st of May 2016.

For rural junior teams and female teams, applications have to be submitted no later than ten days before the start of the competition, and will be served by the Russian Federation's ministry of sport and the Golden Puck club.

Local junior teams, teams of local sporting clubs, teams from additional education organisations and youth hockey schools not taking part in 2015/2016 regional Russian championships are allowed to be a part of the tournament. If players belong to Russian championship clubs but have not played in any official games, they are also allowed to take part (a special document will need to be provided). Also, girls who play in the Russian women's ice hockey championship do not hold the right to be a part of the Golden Puck.
