Valentin Gureev is 70 years old!

On the 12th of March, honoured Russian ice hockey coach Valentin Gureev celebrates his birthday. Today he turned 70 years old.

Soviet ice hockey player and coach. Master of Sports, honoured Russian coach.

Torpedo (1964-1966)

SKA Leningrad (1966-1969)

Spartak Moscow (1969-1978)

Kapfenberg (1978-1982)

Honours:

1976 USSR champion

1970 and 1973 USSR championship silver medalist

1972 and 1975 USSR championship bronze medalist

USSR Cup winner in 1970 and 1971

Coaching career:

Head coach of HC Spartak Moscow between 1993 and 1995

2006 head coach of HC Khimik Voskresensk

2008 head coach of the Russian women's national team
