A countdown clock for the World Championship has been installed at the Legends Park

Today on the 16th of March, a special countdown clock was placed in front of the VTB Ice Palace for the 2016 IIHF World Championship which will take place in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. At the moment the number 51 is fixed on the clock, and this simbolises how many days are left befoe the start of the World Championship. The Russian Ice Hockey Federation president Vladislav Tretyak and the General Director of the Park of Legends Alexei Kasatanov were at the ceremony. The clock has been fixed on a stele, and its two designers were handed two tickets to the World Championship as a result of winning the competiton. 

We also note that ticket sales for Moscow World Championship matches have now begun.
