Russia will play America at the Women's World Championship

On the 31st of March, the women's Russian national team will play the third match of their 2016 IIHF World Championship camping against the USA.

It hasn't been a pleasant experience for our girls in the tournament so far, as an opening 3:5 defeat to Finland was followed by a heavy 1:8 loss against hosts Canada. It won't get any easier today either, as our team have to take on the reigning world champions America. Nevertheless, whatever the result today, the team are guaranteed to have a shot at making the semi-finals.

Forward Iya Gavrilova has been hot in the competition so far, and she already has three goals against Finland and Canada.

The Russia - USA match will take place at 01:30 Moscow time in Kamloops, Canada. Match TV will broadcast live in Russia.
