The captain of the under 18 national team is now known

Late on the evening of the 9th of April, the under 18 Russian national team held their first training session in the USA.

The team arrived at Thief River Falls just one day ago, and will train at this location before the World Championship begins. Sergei Golubovich's men held a 75 minute long work-out on the ice on Saturday, and after the session, Klim Kostin was unveiled as the team's captain. Mark Rubinchik and Mikhail Sergachyov will be his assistants.

At the World Championship in Grand Forks, Russia will play in group A along with hosts the USA, Switzerland, Sweden and Austria. 

At 00:00 Moscow time, the team will play Slovakia in a preparation friendly game.
