Four Nations. Sweden U16 - Russia U16 - 4:5

In Finland, the under 16 Russian national team played their first match of the Four Nations tournament against Sweden.

Evgeny Filinov's men struggled at the start, and conceded two quick goals against the Swedes. However, our players got it together after that, and came roaring back. Pavel Rotenberg, Artemiy Mutovin, Maxim Denezhkin and Vladislav Kotov (2) all found the net, and despite a further three Swedish goals, Russia held on to take a confidence boosting 5:4 win!
