Arkady Rotenberg: "Alexander Radulov will join up with the national team"

The RIHF board chairman Arkady Rotenberg explained the situation surrounding Alexander Radulov:

- Alexander Radulov will join up with the national team. Alexander explained his reasoning behind turning up to the training camp late to Oleg Znarok, and after apologizing before the board and coaching staff, the head coach allowed him to continue preparing for the World Championship with the main squad.

I once again stress the fact that all rules in place for national team players are the same for everybody. Everyone has to stick to the same schedule, and has the same responsibility for results. We all know Alexander Radulov as a talented, emotional player, and such emotions should help the team achieve the required result. The main thing for us is that the national team will perform successfully at the World Championship.
