21.05.2026
21 May marks the 100th anniversary of Mikhail Bychkov's birthday.
During his successful playing career, Mikhail notably became a world and European champion, a winner of the USSR Cup and an Olympic medalist.
It's worth pointing out that he also hoisted the national cup aloft as a professional footballer.
Mikhail sadly passed away at the age of 71. He was inducted into the Russian Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004.
