The Hockey Festival in Novosibirsk has started!

The Hockey Festival has started in Novosibirsk, where fans will have the opportunity to experience their favourite sport in all its forms!

The festival program includes competitions between national and children's teams in both 5x5 and 3x3 formats.



The first day of the Festival was dedicated to sledge hockey – an adaptive sport which allows for people of all ages and genders, young and old, with various disabilities, to participate in competitive sport at their level and be part of a the ice hockey family. This was more than just a sporting event; it was an opportunity for spectators to learn more about sledge hockey and its importance for people with disabilities.



The participants, including players from the Sibir Sledge team and veterans of the Special Military Operation, participated in a demonstration warm-up followed by a master class: the athletes performed various exercises, demonstrating individual techniques for starting sprints and puck handling. The event concluded with a friendly match.
