The 3x3 Future Cup was won by the Student Hockey League (SHL) in Novosibirsk.

In the maiden semi-final, the SHL surprisingly edged past the under 20 Russian national team, claiming a dramatic 2:1 victory following a penalty shootout.

They were subsequently joined in the final by Belarus U20, who coped with the challenge posed by the under 18 Russian national team by emerging victorious 3:2 thanks to a winning marker scored with a mere 10 seconds remaining.

After Russia U20 had then powered past our U18 side 4:1 in the third place playoff, the SHL claimed another scalp in the grand final, getting the better of the Belarusians by a slender score of 3:2!
