The Red Machine is visiting Norilsk again!

Nornickel is continuing its cooperation with the Russian Ice Hockey Federation its official partner and the general partner of the Red Machine National Development Program.

Between the 16th and 18th of January, Norilsk will host another training camp for young ice hockey players from the Arctic. Over the course of three days, the students will gain theoretical knowledge, train on the ice and will participate in an Hockey Festival and 5x5 matches. The guests of honour at the camp will be journalist Dmitry Lukashov and the popular blogger Vobon.

In recent years, ice hockey in the Arctic has received a strong impetus for development. An important role in this process was played by the holding of the Red Machine training camps, which not only allow young players to develop their skills, but also increase the popularity of sport and a healthy lifestyle in general.

Another catalyst for the development of ice hockey was the appearance in Norilsk of a professional VHL team on the initiative of Nornickel President Vladimir Potanin.
