In memory of Sergei Gimaev

01.01.2025
Sergei Gimaev, a famous Russian ice hockey player, coach and commentator, would today have turned 70 years of age.
Following the completion of his playing career, Sergei became one of Russia's most well-loved ice hockey commentators. He notably worked over the triumphant World Championship finals for Russia against Canada in 2008 and 2009.
Sadly, on 18 March 2017, he passed away due to heart failure while participating in a legend's match.
