The RIHF held a Red Machine National Development Program event in Tomsk
The Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) systematically works to develop youth hockey and promote the philosophy of this sport among young people. One of the areas of work is the popularisation of ice hockey among preschool and school-age children.
In this area, free systematic educational and training sessions are organised with the involvement of famous players. Recently, in Tomsk, several classes were held both on and off the ice for children aged between 8 and 11 over two days. Master classes were also held for local coaches and specialists.
The RIHF is constantly expanding the geography of the implementation of the Red Machine National Development Program through the systematic implementation of educational programs for coaches and industry specialists.
In essence, the methodological recommendations are the result of many years of innovative and experimental work. A large volume of research work aimed at searching for new developments became possible thanks to the support provided by the Nornickel.
