Vladislav Tretiak shares his emotions after Russia won the Channel One Cup

Vladislav Tretiak, the President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation, shared his emotions from the 2024 Channel One Cup:

"The team achieved the goal of finishing in first position of the tournament standings! The Channel One Cup proved that at international level, no weak teams remain. Every match was tough for our team. The Belarusians and Kazakhs played well, causing our players plenty of problems. I'm sure that everyone really enjoyed watching the enthralling games!

"It's vital that our players gained experience of participating in international matches and achieving victories for the Russian national team. Furthermore, I would like to whole heartedly thank the fans for their incredible support! More than 64 thousand people attended our games over the course of three days, while millions of fans across the nation were rooting for the team in front of their TV screens. This fantastic support helped us win the Channel One Cup. Congratulations to everyone with our victory! The Russian ice hockey community will greet the new year with a positive mood."
