In memory of Leonid Volkov

Leonid Volkov, a legendary forward of the Soviet national team, was born on this day exactly 90 years ago.

During his successful playing career, Leonid won the Olympic Games on one occasion and the World Championship twice with his country, while representing Torpedo Gorky and CSKA Moscow on the club front.

Leonid sadly passed away on 17 May 1995 at the mere age of 60.
