Preliminary Russia 25 squad for the Channel One Cup

The Russian Ice Hockey Federation can reveal the preliminary Russia 25 squad for the upcoming Channel One Cup.

The competition will take place at the SKA Arena in Saint Petersburg between the 12th and 15th of December. Belarus, Kazakhstan and the KHL World Team will participate in the tournament alongside Russia 25.

These following players have been included in the preliminary roster:

Goalkeepers: Ilya Nabokov (Metallurg Magnitogorsk), Daniil Isayev (Lokomotiv), Yegor Zavragin, Artemiy Pleshkov (both SKA), Sergei Ivanov (Sochi).

Defensemen: Alexander Nikishin, Danila Galenyuk, Nikita Zaitsev, Nikita Smirnov, Arseniy Koromyslov, Andrei Pedan, Ivan Vydrenkov (all SKA), Ilya Karpukhin, Sergei Telegin (both Traktor), Alexander Yelesin, Dmitry Simashev (both Lokomotiv), Mikhail Gulyaev, Semyon Chistyakov (both Avangard), Bogdan Konyushkov, Anton Silyaev (both Torpedo), Magomed Sharakanov (Lada), Nikita Lyamkin (Ak Bars).
