Russia U16 win the President's Sporting Club Cup!

Having edged past Belarus U18 4:3 on the road in Minsk, the under 16 Russian national team have won the President's Sporting Club Cup!

Our team were leading by three markers early in the third period, but the Belarusians threatened to launch a dramatic comeback by reducing the deficit to one with around five minutes still to play.

Nevertheless, our players stood tall to the challenge, keeping their elder hosts at bay to clinch first place of the standings.

Furthermore, Yegor Kazantsev was named the best goalkeeper and Evgeny Yakunin was declared the best forward. Kazantsev tallied 39 saves in this particular game to see Russia home and dry.
