Vladislav Tretiak and Olga Zhuravskaya opened an ice hockey rink in Kopeysk

President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) Vladislav Tretiak paid a visit to Chelyabinsk Region.

One of the central points of the visit was the grand opening ceremony of the ice hockey rink at the Kopeysk Social Rehabilitation Centre. The construction of this facility was a joint project of the RIHF, Liga Stavok and the Constellation of Kindness charity foundation.



Large-scale support for youth sport and children involved in challenging life situations has been carried out since 2017. The joint corporate and social program was called the Kindness League, covering almost 30 regions of the Russian Federation.

The rink in Kopeysk was opened by Tretiak and the founder of the Constellation of Kindness charity, the first vice-president of the Liga Stavok company Olga Zhuravskaya. The ceremony was also attended by the first vice-governor of the Chelyabinsk region Stanislav Mosharov, the regional sports minister Anna Kodina and other officials of the regional government responsible for social policy.

As part of the visit, Tretiak held a meeting with Mosharov concerning the development of ice hockey in Chelyabinsk Region.
