Meeting between Roman Rotenberg and Maria Lvova-Belova

The First Vice President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) Roman Rotenberg held a meeting with Children's Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova at the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.

During the meeting, Rotenberg spoke about the RIHF's numerous projects for working with children, including the construction of the multifunctional Hockey City Skolkovo sporting complex in which all students will have the opportunity to study at the innovative SKOLKA school. Furthermore, he also mentioned the "Red Machine Charity" project which is starting up.

The parties agreed to start new projects in the field of charity in children's ice hockey, primarily helping athletes in new regions, low-income families, orphanages and sledge hockey players.

- The dialogue was very constructive. I spoke to Maria about the creation of our new "Red Machine Charity" project, with the help of which we will begin the implementation of our joint projects. The RIHF will now be able to work more professionally with children taking into account psychological and educational factors. With the support of Gazprom and with the help of private investments, we will organise new free training camps and take part in the construction of ice hockey rinks across the new regions of the Russian Federation.
