Russia U16 are preparing for the Sirius Cup

Ahead of the upcoming Sirius Cup, the under 16 Russian national team has started training in Novogorsk.

These following players and coaches are involved:

Goalkeepers: Kirill Zhernosekov (Avangard), Yakov Kazantsev (Lokomotiv), Andrei Nikolaev (Spartak), Artyom Uvaletov (SKA).

Defensemen: Daniyar Aybatov, Sabit Khatibullin (both Ak Bars), Fyodor Andreev, Ivan Rossinsky, Vladimir Shtyrkhunov (all CSKA), Illarion Babkin, Artyom Mate (both Spartak), Stanislav Larionov (SKA Army), Vladimir Mozzhukhin, Kirill Teplyakov (both Avangard).

Forwards: Fyodor Belousov, Ivan Kovalenko, Artyom Frolov (all Lokomotiv-2004), Bogdan Vasilevsky, Svyatoslav Karpov, Yegor Trofimchuk (all Avangard), Damir Gilmanov (AKM), Daniil Ermolov, Artyom Katsuro, Gleb Olkhovik, Nazar Privalov, Dmitry Savin, Bogdan Yakushevsky (all CSKA), Roman Kozhevnikov (Traktor), Yaroslav Krasavchikov (SKA), Ivan Ryabov (TSZVS), Daniil Savin, Evgeny Yakunin (both Spartak), Sergei Skvortsov (Torpedo).

Coaching staff:

Head coach: Anton Kadeikin.

Coaches: Mikhail Deev, Alexander Pavlov.

Goalkeeping coach: Artyom Artemyev.

Physical conditioning coach: Alexander Kofanov.

The team will train in Novogorsk between the 27th and 31st of May, before subsequently travelling to the Sirius Educational Centre in Sochi on 1 June. The tournament itself will begin on 14 June.
