Reaction after beating Kazakhstan at the Liga Stavok Future Cup

Head coach of the under 20 Russian national team Nikolai Voeovdin shared his views after defeating Kazakhstan 12:0 at the Liga Stavok Future Cup.

Russia U20 head coach Nikolai Voevodin:

- Our guys treated this match seriously, we had asked them to treat the opponents with respect and play attacking ice hockey with plenty of combination plays. We wanted to move the puck quickly out from defence to attack. Our large amount of goals? They were scored as a result of our creating play in the attacking zone. Were we surprised that the Student Hockey League defeated Belarus? No, plenty of their players used to ply their trade in the MHL. We're aiming to win the competition here with a victory against the Belarusians in our concluding game.
