Metallurg Magnitogorsk have become Russian champions for the sixth time!
In the fifth match of the 2023/2024 KHL Gagarin Cup final, the Ural-based organisation edged past Lokomotiv 2:1 in Yaroslavl to consequently win the league with a resounding 4-0 series triumph.
Magnitogorsk had previously become champions of Russia in 1999, 2001, 2007, 2014 and 2016.
Lokomotiv have claimed the silver medal, while bronze falls to Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg.
