The RIHF and Liga Stavok opened an ice rink in Ulyanovsk Region

In the village of Ignatovka, Ulyanovsk Region, a new ice rink was opened by the President of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) Vladislav Tretiak and the President of Liga Stavok Yuri Krasovsky.

The construction of the rink was a part of a joint social project organised by the RIHF and Liga Stavok. During the rink's grand opening, Tretiak spoke to young ice hockey players who will use the facility and handed out autographs.

- The development of ice hockey infrastructure across the regions of our country is a priority for the RIHF. I'm grateful to Liga Stavok and personally to its director Yuri Krasovsky for their assistance and cooperation, we're providing an increasing amount of cities, towns and villages with excellent new facilities!

The career of any great player begins with playing outdoors at the local rink. Some of those who take their first steps on the new skating rink will become professionals, but absolutely everyone will become people with strong-willed, determined characters. Ice hockey assists personal development, discipline and respect while allowing you to achieve success as a part of a team.
