Yury Babenko and Artyom Chmykhov speak about beating HC Riga

28.05.2016

Yury Babenko, Russia-1 head coach:

- I am only happy that we won. There's nothing special about being a head coach, I am doing my work, and the players are doing theirs. Everything's fine. It was hard going for the team today, and the players know that this is a test before the World Championship. The result is good, however we have things to work on. Everyone has their own goals here.

Artyom Chmykhov, Russia-1 defenseman:

- The opponents played aggressive. We all had to crash the net, and as a result, we had fights with their goaltender. Russia-2's 14:1 win didn't relax us, and we wanted to win this game. The guys gave their all.
