Today on the 6th of June, honoured Soviet ice hockey player and two time Olympic champion Vladimir Shadrin celebrates his birthday. The Russian Ice Hockey Federation wishes Vladimir a very happy birthday, as well as health and happiness!

Achievements:

- 1972 and 1976 Olympic champion, tournament top scorer in 1976

- Five time world champion (1970, 1971, 1973-75)

- Four time European champion (1970, 1973-75)

- Three time USSR champion (1967, 1969, 1976)

- Took part in the 1972 and 1974 Super Series
