Reaction after beating Kazakhstan

Interviews were taken following the concluding match of the 2023 Channel One Cup between Russia 25 and the senior Kazakh national team (5:2) in Saint Petersburg.

Russia 25 head coach Roman Rotenberg:

- Taking into account that this was our third game in four days, we found it tough going. Nevertheless, the guys did a great job to play like this and earn the victory. We really wanted to win the competition in front of our own supporters.

Russia 25 forward Maxim Sorkin:

- This tournament came as a distraction from club ice hockey. We'll now return to our respective teams with a positive mood. As always, the atmosphere inside the Ice Palace was fantastic, it's a joy to play here. My goal? The coaches asked for one player to always remain on the crease.
