Russia 25 win the 2023 Channel One Cup!

In the concluding match of the 2023 Channel One Cup, Russia 25 defeated Kazakhstan 5:2 in Saint Petersburg to finish in top spot of the standings!

The Kazakhs twice took the lead, but Ilya Safonov and Vasily Glotov pegged them back.

In the 33rd minute, Maxim Sorkin handed the Russians their maiden advantage of the game, a goal which proved to be the winner as goaltender Nikita Serebryakov refused to concede again for our team. Valentin Zykov then subsequently grabbed two markers for himself to firmly seal the deal for Russia 25.
