In Saint Petersburg, Russia 25 won the 3x3 Liga Stavok Channel One Cup with two wins from two!
Initially, Russia 25 powered past Kazakhstan 5:2 to reach the final, where the team would face the Stars and VHL after the latter came back to defeat Belarus 4:3 in a penalty shootout.
Russia did then recover from a two-goal deficit in the decisive encounter to become champions of the competition with a dramatic 4:2 triumph!
In the third place playoff, the Belarusians managed to beat the Kazakhs 4:3 in a shootout.
