Vladislav Tretiak has arrived in Vladivostok

Vladislav Tretiak, the president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation, has arrived in Vladivostok for a business trip.

On Wednesday, Tretiak held a meeting with a delegation from China which has travelled to participate in the Student Hockey Asia Challenge. Teams representing the Far Eastern Federal University and the Far Eastern Academy of Physical Culture will compete in the tournament, alongside two sides from the Qiqihar Centre of Winter Sports.

The competition will be staged between the 23rd and 25th of November.



The meeting was attended by the director of the Winter Sports Development Center of the city of Qiqihar, Chen Guanghua, and the chairman of the Harbin Culture and Sports Communications Company Mu Jian.

The parties discussed the possibilities of further cooperation, exchanges of experience and staging tournaments among student teams on a regular basis.

During his trip to the Far East, the RIHF president will also visit Sakhalin Island.
