Russia U16 finish in third of the President's Club Cup

On the final day of the President's Sporting Club Cup, the senior Russian women's national team lost 0:5 to the under 18 Kazakh national side, before Russia U16 conceded a slender 0:1 defeat to Belarus U18.

Even though they did indeed come out on the losing side, our female team did at least keep a clean sheet in the third period against their male opponents.

Later on in the afternoon, our under 16 national team did have the opportunity to finish in first position, but their elder Belarusian opponents emerged victorious 1:0 to win the competition and leave Russia U16 in third spot.
