Reaction after Russia U18 and U20 played each other

06.11.2023
The two respective head coaches shared their emotions following the concluding match of the Liga Stavok Cup of the Future between Russia U18 and Russia U20.

Russia U18 head coach Alexander Titov:

- I would like to thank the Russian Ice Hockey Federation for the wonderful organisation of this tournament. Both teams wanted to win this game, our guys withstood the pressure and scored excellent goals. I thanked them for their great performance after the match had ended. Hopefully, this will give them a boost, they competed against players who boast KHL experience.

Russia U20 head coach Nikolai Voevodin:

- What happened in the third stanza? Our players started to become nervous and participated in unnecessary disagreements with the opponents. Our emotions got the better of us. As a consequence of losses of concentration and poor play near our own goal, we ended up losing. Obviously, we're not satisfied with the result. You always have to respect every opponent, regardless of who you're facing.
