In Novogorsk. two separate Russian under 18 national team line-ups took two victories against MHK Krylya Sovetov and SKA-Neva respectively. Kirill Maximov and Kirill Slepets scored the goals to defeat Krylya 2:1, while the other under 18 squad saw off VHL outfit SKA-Neva by the same score.
