The RIHF extends its condolences

Igor Smirnov, the technical director of Ak Bars Kazan, sadly passed away on September 22nd.
He had worked with Ak Bars since 1980. Igor, who was born on the 4th of May 1948, helped the club win the Russian championship five times, the KHL Gagarin Cup on three occasions, the European Champions Cup and the Continental Cup.
The Russian Ice Hockey Federation extends its sincere condolences to Igor's loved ones.
