Nikolai Voevodin speaks after playing Admiral in Sochi

After the second match of the 2023 Liga Stavok Sochi Hockey Open against Admiral Vladivostok, Russia 23 head coach Nikolai Voevodin shared his thoughts.
Russia 23 head coach Nikolai Voevodin:
- I was happy with how we performed in the third period. Moreover, I also liked our play during the maiden two frames, we had opportunities to score. Our lack of ruthlessness in front of goal is letting us down. The goals which we conceded arrived for Admiral on the counter-attack, and we will show the guys the mistakes they committed. As a coach I am also learning a lot, this is my first competition at senior level! Our powerplay isn't working? We need to unleash our shots quicker instead of taking so long to take aim.
