Vladislav Tretiak opened an ice rink for children in Ulyanovsk Region

Vladislav Tretiak, the president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF), opened an ice rink in Ulyanovsk Region for children.

President of the RIHF Vladislav Tretiak:

- One of our main tasks is to create the required facilities for people - especially the next generation - to play ice hockey. Children in Ulyanovsk now have another opportunity to engage in sport. This really important, as ice hockey involves not only sporting achievements and health, but also discipline, the development of strong characters and the ability to achieve victories as a team. The journey to Olympic glory always starts at the local rink, and this new high-quality facility meets all of the required standards. I want this rink to help lots of young players engage in sport and be successful!
