Alexander Ovechkin received the gratitude of the Russian President

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed Decree No. 187-rp dated 06/21/2023 "On Encouragement."  

As a consequence of his achievements and many years of conscientious work, the gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation was announced to Alexander Ovechkin, a forward of the Russian national team and the Washington Capitals. He is also the adviser to the general director of HC Dynamo (Moscow).
