Young players were introduced to educational elements of the Red Machine National Development Program

13.06.2023
As a part of the "Red Machine - We are a Team!" project, the participating young players were introduced to educational aspects of the Red Machine National Development Program.

During the seminar, the players were spoken to about the program's goals, philosophy and its creation process. As it stands, less than 1% of those studying in sporting schools subsequently become professional ice hockey players, so the Red Machine National Development Program also contains material concerning the harmonious development of children and teenagers in general life. It's also worth pointing out that the players' interests includes not only ice hockey, but also mathematics, computer science and other intellectual disciplines. This differentiates the risks associated with the unambiguous and non-alternative choice of one type of professional activity.

In the near future, specialists of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation will organise an online conversation between the teenagers and well-known ice hockey players who will talk about the important nuances of training.
