Thoughts after beating the Ural Federal District
13.06.2023
Head coach of the under 16 Russian national team Pavel Kanarsky shared his emotions after beating the Ural Federal District by a large score of 9:1 at the U16 Sirius Cup:
Russia U16 head coach Pavel Kanarsky:
- Yes, we managed to earn the victory, but overall I'm not satisfied with the performance. Instead of playing as a team, the guys competed in an individual manner and didn't control the puck enough inside the attacking zone. This is not the kind of ice hockey which we want to see. We now have to prepare for our next match, all of the players understand just how important it is.
