Russia U16 are preparing for the Sirius Cup

A training camp fro the under 16 Russian national team has started in Novogorsk in preparation for the upcoming Sirius Cup.

These following players have been called up:

Goalkeepers: Dmitry Borichev (Lokomotiv), Ivan Popov (SKA), Vladimir Selivanov (Dynamo Moscow).

Defensemen: Alexei Anisimov, Demid Zubov, Nikita Pavlyuk (all Lokomotiv), Pavel Denisov (Avangard), Vladimir Kostin, Yegor Tsyganov (both CSKA), Pavel Maslochenko (Vityaz), Nikita Fedotov, Konstantin Yurkov (both SKA-Yunost), Dmitry Shutyaev (Mikhailov Academy).

Forwards: Semyon Belogurov (Avangard), Alexei Vlasov, Oleg Kulebyakin, Andrei Molgachyov, Yegor Shilov (all SKA-Yunost), Nikita Gromakov, Nikita Ovcharov (both CSKA), Evgeny Dubrovtsev, Arseniy Shapovalov (both SKA), Adrel Kalimullin (Ak Bars), Matvei Kotkov, Viktor Fyodorov (both Lokomotiv), Vladislav Mishin (Torpedo), Glen Pugachyov, Maxim Seldemirov (both Vityaz).

After thorough medical examinations, the players will begin training in Novogorsk, before subsequently travelling to Sochi for the competition. The training competition will continue until June 7.

Coaching staff:

Head coach: Pavel Kanarsky.

Coaches: Alexander Vedernikov, Alexander Antropov.

Goalkeeping coach: Dmitry Mezentsev.

Physical conditioning coach: Alexander Kofanov.
