The "Red Machine - We're a Team" program has started at the Artek Centre.
It is a fully-fledged training camp which has been organised by the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF) and will be overseen by RIHF specialists, with the young players training in accordance with the Red Machine National Development Program. Players participating in the program are aged between 14 and 15.
The goal of the program is to create the necessary conditions for expanding students' knowledge and practical skills in the field of social and professional competencies through ice hockey. The camp will last for three weeks.
This will be the third year in which the program will be staged.
Unlike the existing programs for coaching young players, which are more focused on the implementation of the training process, this program includes an educational component. Practical experience shows that this approach provides young players with the opportunities for further development in the subsequent stages of their sporting careers.
Thanks to the cooperation between the RIHF and Nornickel, this program possesses modern, innovative material and technical support. Young players are receiving modern equipment and training sessions are conducted using the best examples of modern inventory and equipment.
