The under 17 national team have started training
In preparation for the Challenge Cup, the Russian under 17 national team have started training in Novogorsk. Three goaltenders, ten defensemen and fourteen forwards have been called up:
Goalkeepers: Georgy Dubrovsky, Daniil Isaev, Amir Miftakhov.
Defensemen: Gleb Babintsev, Danila Galenyuk, Bogdan Zhilyakov, Danila Zhuravlyov, Roman Kalinichenko, Anton Malyshev, Daniil Misyul, Nikita Okhotyuk, Ilyas Sitdikov, Nikita Solopanov.
Forwards: Ruslav Aliev, Danil Gizdatulin, Maxim Denezhkin, Grigory Denisenko, Alexei Drobin, Danila Dyadenkin, Alexander Zhabreev, Vladislav Kotkov, Grigory Nesvetaev, Pavel Rotenberg, Nikita Rtischev, Yegor Sokolov, Alexander Khovanov, Maxim Shabanov.
To aid the team in training, a friendly will take place against CSKA 99/00 on CSKA's Canadian sized ice hockey rink.
Afterwards, there will be a training camp in Toronto between the 22nd and 26th of October. There will also be a friendly game there.
