Reaction after beating Belarus in Tula

After the 4:1 triumph over Belarus in Tula as a part of the Liga Stavok Big National Team Tour, Russia 25 head coach Roman Rotenberg and forward Pavel Poryadin spoke to the media:

Russia 25 head coach Roman Rotenberg:

- We played against a strong opponent with excellent coaches. I have a lot of respect for Dmitry Kvartlanov, we can see how the Belarusians are changing their approach. We improved in terms of our emotions and desire as the game progressed.

Unfortunately, our captain Zakhar Bardakov received an injury and had to go to hospital for examinations. This speaks volumes about the level of competition in this series. Belarus have a great team, we're enjoying playing against them. I watched the match between Finland and the USA at the World Championship, but we think that our games are more interesting.

Russia 25 forward Pavel Poryadin:

- All of us are receiving plenty of positive emotions from this tour! Krasnoyarsk has a large ice rink, whereas the ice size here in Tula is smaller. We had to quickly adapt. The small details are making the series even more interesting.
