Qazaqstan Hockey Open. Belarus - Russia 25 - 7:4

06.05.2023
In the second match of the Qazaqstan Hockey Open, the Russia 25 team came up short in a goal-filled thriller against the senior Belarusian national team, suffering a 4:7 defeat.

The Belarusians took the lead on three occasions, but the Russians responded each time with Valentin Zykov, Andrei Chivilyov and Marat Khairullin all hit the jackpot to equalise.

However, despite the best efforts of our players, the opponents netted a further four markers to grab the win. Khairullin tallied our fourth goal in the 54th minute of proceedings.

Five games are now remaining in the Liga Stavok Big National Team Tour, with the next set to take place in Krasnoyarsk on May 9.
