Universiade 2017. USA W - Russia W - 1:7

On the 29th of January, the women's Russian student national team played their opening 2017 Winter Universiade group stage match against the USA.

Despite the USA beating Russia on regular occasions, our team generally get the better of the Americans on student level. Indeed, once again Russia proved to be much the stronger in this Universiade match, thrashing the USA 7:1! Anna Shokhina (2), Lidiya Malyavko, Fanuza Kadirova, Olga Sosina, Aleksandra Vafina and Evgeniya Dyupina scored the goals, sealing the victory!

The next match will take place on February 2nd against Japan at 17:00 Moscow time.
