2021 Hlinka Gretzky Cup. Czech Republic U18 - Russia U18 - 3:7

In the concluding group-stage match of the 2021 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, the under 18 Russian national team cruised past the Czech Republic, registering a large 7:3 victory.

Once again, our players sparked into life during a superb second stanza, as Matvei Michkov - twice -, Ivan Miroshnichenko, Ilya Rogovsky and Daniil Grigoryev all struck the jackpot.

Artur Demidov and Rogovsky completed the win in the ensuing third period. Reliable goalkeeper Sergei Ivanov stopped 35 of the 38 Czech shots he faced in the Russian goal.

Russia will now prepare to face Sweden in the semi-finals on August 6. Puck-drop is scheduled for 20:00 Moscow time.
